Walkerpack operate from a number of secure warehouses in Northampton and Valencia and use a range of racking, storage media and handling equipment to match your inventory characteristics. We operate dedicated and multi-user facilities and can provide flexible and cost effective ad-hoc or seasonal solutions, pay as you go, weekly or by unit.
Walkerpack have an experienced team able to process fluctuating order profiles to meet your required cut-off times. We can pick, configure, consolidate, pack, label and despatch orders to a suitable carrier. We have a number of preferred hauliers and carriers to meet our specific needs and service levels. They collect from our warehouses on a daily basis but we also work with a number of customer designated transport solutions.
Walkerpack manage your inventory using system driven processes and controls designed to assist our experienced staff. All consignments received are checked, counted and given a unique bar code label which enables future movements through to despatch to be recorded using radio frequency scanners. Perpetual inventory regimes are driven by stock value, movements and complexity. Customers can view inventory levels and stock movement reports through secure internet connections.
Walkerpack can manage the complex process associated with your product returns. These may be contract returns or could be faulty requiring repair, replacement, warranty management or simply end of life disposal. Which ever, we can arrange exchange, collection or replacement and manage the appropriate action for the returned product.
Walkerpack provides component assembly, kitting and sequencing of order specific components to OEM assembly plants. We have systems designed to interface with OEM assembly sequences and support their assembly process. These also control our processes so that we can deliver the correctly configured components line side, just in time and in the correct sequence. We have our own vehicles, handling equipment and transportation trolleys to deliver a fully independent service.
Walkerpack have our own systems team and all of our operational IT systems have been developed in house. We often use bar codes and radio frequency technology to collect data from operational activities and make stock and status information available to our customers via secure internet access. Our systems drive operational planning and are the basis for reporting service level performance both internal and to our customers. We have dedicated links with some customers and exchange data between systems to ensure efficiency, integrity and speed of services. Our systems are designed with flexibility in mind and all use a similar platform on which each tailored solution is based. We are also conversant with many customer systems and work directly with them via connections to their corporate networks.
